About a month ago, I received two separate, but almost identical, messages that read something like “ I’m coming to New York , lets meet! ” The messages were from two travel bloggers Jessica and Sydney that I had connected with on Instagram. Yes, I know what you are thinking, your parents probably also told you never to talk to strangers. I know my mom must have said that to me every day growing up. But we were following each other on Instagram, so didn’t that already make us BFF’s?!
Since I was the New Yorker, I got to pick our meeting place. Of course, simple common sense and Catfish , dictated that we should meet at a very public place. Choosing The Rockefeller Center came easy: The Top of the Rock has gorgeous 360 views of Manhattan and I had been previously unsuccessful in convincing my New York peeps to go with me.
So we made plans to meet at the Top Of The Rock via text messages (because millennials don’t actually use their phones to talk) and the day came. After like 30 minutes of trying to figure out where to meet and where to buy tickets, we finally made it to the top of the Rock. Guys! To say I was in picture Heaven is putting it mildly!

How fun and really cool to meet some blogger friends. I have yet to do that in person but I hope to meet some awesome ladies soon.
