Never underestimate the power of a tiny human. Good lord! Mama is TIYAAAAAAD. I’ve been running on 3 cups of coffee a day, barely functional all because my baby decided he was going to add a couple of wake-up calls to my night. So, think 9PM, 12AM, 3AM, 5AM and up by 7AM –insert crying emoji here. For the last few weeks I was feeling like a shell of myself and then I remembered one VERY important tidbit I had forgotten—the art of asking for help. One I had learned from a book my friend introduced me to– Drop the Ball: How to Achieve More by Doing Less. It was an aha moment… I had to start dropping the ball! Hello night-shift helper 😊 . All I had to do was ask the hubster for help-duh!. Listen, if you are thinking to yourself, well, why does she have to ask him to help her when its his kid too? Well… this is why I need you to read this book and a few others. Its for your sanity. Child care is a full time gig folks. And its not typically a one wo(man) job no matter what we saw growing up. I had to learn these things on the job and I thought I would share some of that insight with you.
Oh. And if you came for the outfit details:
