Gift Guide for Her

Gift Guide for Her

Mothers day is this weekend! ( Sunday, May 8, 2016). If you forgot, your homegirl is here to help. I also happen to be heading to quite a few baby showers this month. Why do you care? Because being the benevolent human being that I am,I rounded up a gift guide for all the mother sister friends in your life. And because I’m super awesome like that, I also threw in a few of my faves for baby too. You are welcome!

This watch! I have had mine for over two years and absolutely love it. It just seems to go with everything. Danielle Wellington is running a promotional which reads “Place your order today and enjoy free shipping, beautiful gift-wrapping and a complimentary greeting card.” There you go. You can grab you one here.

I included this because it is a DIY that you can put together pretty easily. The Sally Hansen two step gel nail polish comes in so many colors that there really is something for everyone. And the best part is, you can walk into any drug store and assemble a few matching nail polish colors and manicure tools, and pop them in a gift bag with some cute tissue paper and a well thought out card. Done! Your mom or sister friend wont know you picked it up 10 minutes earlier. And this could double as an everyday, just because gift.

This one is for a stylish mama. Because 1.its chocolate bon bons! 2.it smells like chocolate, duh! And I mean, come on. Look at those colors and those hearts… #swoon! Ok, ill stop so you can grab you one.

We all know women are super heros. Like seriously, the only reason it isn’t considered a super power to be a woman is because there are so many of us. We have to juggle careers, school, raising kids, caring for spouses and keep our bodies together without breaking a sweat. Bando came up with these planners to help us do just that. They just released their 17 month agends which means you can start using them right away. You can shop the collection here

So you cant have my kitty Wolfie but you can adopt a cute little fur-baby from your local shelter. If your mom or sister friend walks around squealing at the site of any cute dogs. Or she keeps talking about how she really would love to have (insert adorable pet here), then you need to haul your butt to a shelter and give her what she wants! Added bonus is a forever friend. Just saying 🙂 . WARNING: there is no 30 day return policy, please do yourself and the fur-ball a favor and be sure before you do this. Also consider allergies.

Here is an absolutely magical Etsy find. How cute is she !?! Can someone say #eyelashgoals ?! Seriously, this Etsy store has the most adorable hand made soft toys by the sweetest lady. And they come in the cutest packaging. She also works with you on customization so if you want a unicorn colored toy, go for it!

Gold and lace! I mean, how could you go wrong with these? These darling little shoes are also from Etsy. You can find them here. I got them in two sizes for my niece because, a baby can never have too many shoes! And if these darlings happen to drop in the back of your closet to be found when your little nugget has outgrown them, not to worry, just pop these babies into a picture box and you got yourself some art. This shop also does custom work, so be creative.

Exhibit A is this kids romper that I came across on Sharktank. If you don’t know what that is, watch some videos here. Its an awesome show which introduces me to small businesses around the country weekly. But I digress… This romper (see the collection here) is awesome because it is made from super soft jersey knit fabric with an elastic neckline that is stretchy enough to fit your cute little baby’s big head and matching body all at once. I bought this for my sister in law’s baby. But shhhhh…don’t tell her.

Hope this was helpful. Do comment and let me know if you want me to do more gift guides. I exist here to please.

Smooches!

So I couldn’t help but crack up on the ‘cute little baby’s big head’ part. I’m definitely getting some of those jersey rompers when my little ones arrive <3

Great list. Figuring out different gifts is always such a tricky one. Lol. Glad you pointed out the no 30 day return option on cats.

Haha. Adopting a pet is serious business! I know some folks always keep the option of returning the pet to the shelter at the back of their minds. But the idea is to provide a forever-home for these animals that have often had tough lives so far. Instead, id suggest spending time with the animal at the shelter to be sure that there is a bond between the two of you. Thanks for reading! Definitely a few of my favorite go to gifts, i.e clothing, makeup and accessories. Cant go wrong in those categories. Flowers are so overdone.

Aww. I guess the good old flowers, card and hand written card should do the trick 🙂 . you could always cook dinner and invite your mom over for a heart to heart over dinner with a plan to express all the ways she means the most to you.
